We’re pleased to again partner with Virginia Cooperative Extension, USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service, and many other community partners to host the 2015 Virginia Farm to Table Conference December 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. The conference will be hosted at Blue Ridge Community College Plecker Workforce Center in Weyers Cave, Virginia.
The emphasis this year is on “Strengthening Your Foodshed, Protecting Our Watersheds,” and the speakers and available tracks will reflect a focus on soil and water health, financial security for mid-scale farms, and increasing the availability of local food for all populations. New this year is a pre-conference tour on Wednesday, December 2nd that will showcase some of the Valley’s farms and agribusinesses.
